The NewHolly farm stand – located at 42nd South and South Rockery Dr. – is where gardeners living in the NewHolly neighborhoods grow, harvest and market their own fresh produce. It does not get any fresher or more local!
The stand opened on July 7, and runs every Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm until Wed., Sept. 29.
Seattle Market Gardens is a program developed with the community by the City of Seattle P-Patch Community Gardening Program in collaboration with the Seattle Housing Authority and P-Patch Trust.

where is south Rockery drive?
That’s so awesome!
The produce was really good last year. I highly recommend snatching some of this stuff up before they’re gone at the end of the month!
Could someone tell me where this stand stands? Where is S. Rockery Drive? It’s not on google maps
This is a WONDERFUL vegetable and flower stand, and has become a regular Wednesday afternoon destination for me (Mimi – S. Rockery is due south across the big empty field from the Othello Safeway, just west of MLK.)
And the farmers who staff it are great too – one time I was about to buy a bunch of spinach from their display table when one of the farmers said, “No, I get you some fresh!” He went out to the gardne (in back of the farm stand) and picked some ‘fresh’ spinach for me then and there even though what was on the table couldn’t have been older than a couple of hours! Suffice it to say they’re great people with great produce.
Why does this run concurrently with the Columbia City farmer’s market? With both events on the light rail line doesn’t it make sense for them to be on different days?
