Yesterday afternoon at about 3:15 pm, two African male immigrants were attacked and threatened by a belligerent white man in a truck as they stood outside a store in the 8800 block of Rainier Avenue South.
According to Seattle Police Department (SPD), after receiving a call on his cell phone one of the victims stepped outside the store where he was accosted by the man who was driving a truck stopped at a red light at Rainier and Henderson in Rainier Beach.
The attacker told the victim to “speak English”.
When the victim tried to tell the suspect that he didn’t speak English well, the suspect pulled out of traffic, got out of his vehicle, yelled religious slurs – including accusing him of being “a Muslim” – and attacked him, striking him twice in the upper body.
That’s when the second victim, who was still inside the store, saw what was happening and tried to help his friend. The suspect turned on him, punching him in the eye.
He then threatened to kill both victims before getting back in his vehicle and fleeing the scene.
SPD responded but there were no arrests. According to Lt. Jaime Koutsky at the South Precinct, downtown detectives specially trained in dealing with hate crimes are investigating.

Ugh. How freaking pathetic is that. That guy ought to get a life and get out of my neighborhood. My richly diverse, inclusive, colorful, stimulating, fantastic neighborhood. Jerk.

Neither Mr. Limbaugh nor any other leading conservative talk show host has ever, EVER told anyone to attack immigrants on the street or anywhere else for that matter. Check out your own hate inside of you before you blame it on someone else. This is the act of ignorance and lack of emphathy not an act of a ‘conservative’. What a sleazy, ignorant thing to say.

Unfortunately, Limbaugh, Beck, Dobbs and Hannity all perpetrate the air of distrust, animosity, hatred and violence against all illegal immigrants, and since no one can visually see the difference between a legal or illegal immigrant, the chastise ALL they view as Mexican. Unfortunately, this is ANYONE with Brown Skin. Citizens, non-citizens. Latino, non-Latino. Just anyone Brown.
This was played out in Long Island recently when the “Beaner Jumpers” who named themselves the “Caucasian Crew” went looking for “illegal Mexicans” and murdered Marcelo Lucero, a Legal Immigrant from Ecuador.
