RAINIER VALLEY – This year, the Argosy Christmas Ship festival celebrates 62 years of bringing communities together to celebrate the holiday season. From its flotilla of ships to the crowds of people who gather onshore, the celebration is truly one of the gems of the holiday season.
Each night, through December 23rd, the flotilla will sail to different Puget Sound waterfront communities including several in southeast Seattle, and on-board choirs will sing 20-minute performances.
On shore, friends and neighbors will gather around bonfires anticipating the arrival of the Christmas Ship, and Seattle Parks and Recreation will host several events with bonfires and warm drinks for all. Find the south-end schedule below, and more info here.
