Your RVP is proud to welcome our newest sponsor, HomeSight – a local non-profit housing developer and mortgage lender – and the brand new Pontedera Condominiums:
With 94 residential condos in a mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms, plus 8 commercial live/work lofts, the Pontedera, now FHA approved, offers a variety of housing options with special priced units starting at $199,950. HomeSight has assembled an impressive package of financial assistance and incentives which include a 12-year property tax exemption, up to $120,000 in purchase assistance for qualified buyers and no HOA dues until February 2011, to create the best possible opportunity for homeownership close to downtown jobs.
The Pontedera is the largest single phase affordable homeownership development in Seattle, and the largest development HomeSight has undertaken in its 20 year history. HomeSight is extremely proud of how The Pontedera demonstrates that attractive, high quality construction, can also be affordable to low income first time homebuyers. Located on a major bicycle commuting route The Pontedera has parking and storage for approximately 180 bicycles in addition to a bicycle repair and maintenance room. And to accommodate the future growth in alternative fuel vehicles The Pontedera is the first condominium building in Seattle to include an electric car re-charging station. More.
With more than 6,000 unique visitors (i.e. different computers) or more than 30% of the total Southeast Seattle population accessing the site each month, your RVP has quickly become the buzz of the valley and the best way to reach your target market in Seattle’s most diverse community. I’m glad RVP is getting sponsors, but ads for a developer of (yet another) 6-story-building-with-street-level-retail-and-condos-on-top monstrosity mixed in with the editorial is a bummer. Is there a way to draw a better distinction so it doesn’t look like a legitimate article?
Damned if you do and damned if you don’t…..sigh!
legitimate and welcome
Tiffany, have you bothered to go see the building or do you just knee jerk react negatively to anything that’s built? By the way, I assume your home didn’t sprout out of the ground organically, but had to be built by a “developer”. I certainly think it’s news worthy when someone tries to provide affordable home ownership opportunities. And it’s also news worthy when it’s a little non-profit developer that leads the way in putting in electric vehicle re-charging stations when all the million dollar condos in downtown and SLU haven’t bothered to do so.
