Amazing! Thank you SU. I hope the students will stay involved. There are so many groups and volunteers that have been working out in the Cheasty Greenbelt for the past few years including Seattle Park, The Friends of Cheasty Mt. View, EarthCorps, Cascade Land Conservancy, Student Conservation Association, Washington Conservation Corps...and the list goes on. This is all part of the city-wide Green Seattle Partnership program. Everyone is invited to join in the fun and come out for a planting and forest restoration event -the 4th Annual Green Seattle Day on Nov. 7th AT Cheasty. Register at www.greenseattle.org

Thank You! The section along Columbian Way is starting to look really nice now that the ivy has been stripped off of a lot of the trees. I am so glad that EArthCorps has taken this project on. The Cheasty greenbelt is a valuable asset to our community. I never understood why the city (parks dept?) wasn't responsible for maintenance and let the invasive plants take such hold.
