popoFrom SPD:

[Shortly after 1:30am Sunday], officers responded to 911 calls of a disturbance at a residence in the 4200 block of South Bateman Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was having a party when several unwanted guests showed up. At one point someone started yelling and then fired multiple gunshots inside the residence. The suspects left the residence and fled the scene in a Lexus 4-door.

Officers located and stopped the suspect vehicle in the 3900 block of South Mead Street. One suspect was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a second suspect was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license. The suspects are an 18-year-old male and a 21-year-old male.

The Lexus was impounded for further investigation. Nobody was injured as a result of the gunfire.
