Seward Park resident William Edgar Hoke was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with possession of child pornography. The 38-year old is being held at the Federal Detention Center in SeaTac and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of possession of child pornography:
Questioned by investigators following Tuesday’s raid on his South Mayflower Street home, Hoke “became visibly distraught,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement Special Agent Denise Aguilar said in court documents.
“He curled up and held his head, and began crying,” Aguilar said. “During the interview, he repeatedly stated that his life was the Seattle Children’s Theater, and that his life was over.”
Federal prosecutors allege that investigators found photos on Hoke’s computers showing preteen girls. Records obtained from the bulletin boards appear to show that Hoke had praised photos of girls as young as 8-years old on the sites. Read more here.
