Later this month, parents will be able to register their children for school and get information on a variety of local resources for families when the Community Resources on Wheels bus visits nine neighborhood locations, including two in the Rainier Valley.
The bus will visit the Genesee Safeway (3820 Rainier Ave. S.) on Thur., July 21, and the Othello Safeway (3900 S. Othello St.) on Tues., July 26, both from 11 am to 2 pm.
Parents and caregivers who plan to enroll their student in school should bring the following:
- Birth Certificate (K-1st grade only)
- Immunization information
- Current proof of Seattle residence (utility bills, lease, DSHS; shelter/transitional housing letter)
- Admission form (available here or on the bus)
- Photo ID of parent/guardian
