hopefully she told them his name. Maybe he’s one of the punks who has been harassing others.

Hmm…. hopefully that camera at Rainier & Hudson will be of help. Very troubling to see the brazenness of these punks.

Anyone know what McGinn’s plan for dealing with crime in the South End is?

Unfortunately, “these punks” are not the only people involved in domestic violence. A well-off neighbor in Wallingford (when we lived there) was routinely beaten by her boyfriend, and let’s not forget the former police chief of Tacoma, who shot his ex-wife dead in front of his kids.

While many things can be laid at the feet of “south end crime”, domestic violence is pretty much everywhere. And the most dangerous time for any victim is when she tries to leave.

I hope the woman in this story was all right and that she has some support system. Many women go back to their abusers rather than risk being killed “because if I can’t have you, no one will”.

Spoken by one who has BTDT.

At least in Wallingford the abusers and drug addicts hide their crimes better – here we get to witness it very publicly – I hope the girl is okay – its no wonder she dumped this loser.

We know who he is. It’s just a matter of finding which rock he is hiding under.

agibean: You are right. If you can name a walk of life or social position/status, we’ve arrested someone in that category for DV.

See you on the streets! :-)
