Next Steps for New Othello-Area P-Patch

NEW HOLLY – The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods has announced a series of Community Garden Design Workshops for the new John C. Little P-Patch.

The three meetings are designed to educate the community about the project and encourage participation in the garden design process:

  • Sat., Feb. 11 – Garden Ideas
  • Sat., Mar 10 – Compare Alternative Designs
  • Sat., Mar 31 – Final Design

All meetings will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Hope Place, Room #205, (3802 S. Othello St.).

Interpretation and activities for children will be provided. Organizers ask that attendees bring snacks to share.

The project is funded through the 2008 Parks and Green Spaces Levy, which dedicated $2 million to P-Patch Community Garden development.
