Drove by this last night.

This is the corner where you swerve going northbound, at the Blockbuster right before you would turn into the Safeway parking lot? I wince at the pedestrians standing at that bus stop every day thinking about how cars are basically driving right at them at 35mph until that last awkward swerve out of the way. Move the bus stop maybe?

Andover needs traffic calming. The drivers barrel down Rainier and then they turn to Andover and then it goes down a hill. SDOT please help us to SLOW DOWN…

Part of the Rainier Traffic Safety Project study done by SDOT did not address Andover, but after 8 years of begging to take out the 2 parking spots on Rainier just north of Jumbo’s, that even they realized was a safety issue, they did nothing! Maybe our new mayor with find a competent person to run SDOT. I don’t understand how the city and its
governance lost what is common sense to most of us.

This bend in Rainier is really dangerous. There have been several people killed there and many injured. When oh when is something going to be done about Rainier Avenue?!!!!!!! It’s nice to be tops in things but having the second most dangerous road in all of Seattle is something I’d rather pass on.
