This Sat., April 11, Jubilee Christian Center (JCC) will hold the second annual March Against Violence from Rainier Beach High School (RBHS) to Aki Kurose Middle School.

Hundreds of participants are expected to march two miles up Rainier Avenue South from South Henderson Street to  South Graham Street at 42nd Avenue South starting at about 12 noon.

About 150 people attended last year’s peaceful march.

“We want to take back our community,” said Washington Talaga, pastor of the Hillman City church. “It was pressing on my heart that the church needed to rise and take a stand.”

For more information, contact Jubilee Christian Center at (206) 722-4883.
