I’d like to add something I found on a flyer for the Senior Center event. Cheap Chickadee, a thrift store whose profits go to the Southeast Senior Center and which is located right next door in the yellow house, is having their grand re-opening the same day from 9 to 4:30. The Larry Jones trio will be playing jazz at 2 pm.
This is a very cool store with bargains galore. In fact I was there yesterday and bought a shredder for only 3 dollars. There are women’s, men’s and children’s clothes and shoes. Kitchen items, bedding, linens, hats, purses, and collectibles. The prices are extremely low, not many things over 3 dollars and the average cost of clothes is 2 dollars.
I love Cheap Chickadee!!!
