The Rainier Valley Goodwill (1400 S. Lane St.) is planning a special sale of antique and retro-inspired furniture to run Fri., Aug. 14 and Sat. Aug. 15, from 9 am to 9 pm:
- The sale will feature over 500 items, and a fresh selection of furniture will be available on the second day of the sale.
- Items from the turn of last century through the seventies will be for sale, including handcrafted wood tables from the early 1900s; chairs from the thirties and forties; dinette sets from the fifties; and sofas from the sixties.
- Many items representing a variety of styles and periods will also be for sale. Customers can choose from a great selection of armoires, chairs, desks, tables, chests and many other items.
All sales help to support Goodwill’s free job training and education programs that help low-income people in the community find work and support their families.
