SEATTLEPI.COM:

A felon with a long history of violence was charged this week with unlawful possession of a firearm after a road rage incident in which he allegedly pulled a handgun from the trunk of his car after yelling, “you trippin?” to nearby motorists.

James Chung Hwang, 24, was at a stoplight at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Myrtle Street when witnesses said he grabbed the gun, covered in a black T-shirt, from the trunk of his black Hyundai.

It’s not clear what prompted the alleged outbreak about 4 p.m. Wednesday, but other drivers told police they feared they would be shot, according to court documents. Read more.
