County Council Recognizes Quakers for Capturing State Crown

At its last meeting, the King County Council recognized the Franklin Quakers, who earlier this month captured the 2009 3A Boys title when, led by McDonald’s High School All-American Peyton Siva (above), the boys finished the season at 28-1, defeating Columbia River 51-34 for the state crown.
