Columbia City to Kick Off Holiday Season With Tree Lighting Festival & More

COLUMBIA CITY – The Rainier Valley community will kick off the holiday season this weekend with a Lighting Festival on Sat., Dec. 3.

The fun will begin at 4:45 pm on the west side of Rainier and Hudson with refreshments, music from the Rainier Beach Children’s Choir and a visit from Saint Nick.

Nearby, at 3710 South Ferdinand Street, the Rainier Valley Historical Society will hold its annual Holiday Open House from 4 to 6 pm where it will debut its holiday window featuring vintage cards and pictures.
