Columbia City Garden Tour Expands to Include Entire Rainier Valley

mt-baker-008What was formerly known as the Columbia City Garden Tour is expanding this year to include diverse gardens all across the Rainier Valley, from Martin Luther King Way east to Lake Washington, and I-90 south to the city limits, and submissions are already being accepted for the popular event that will be held on Sat., Aug. 22.

Co-sponsored by Sustainable South Seattle, this year’s event will focus on sustainable garden practices, including green gardening, water catchment & conservation, city chickens, organic veggies & flowers and community gardens.
