A 63-year old Beacon Hill woman has been attacked and sexually assaulted in the fifth in a string of recent south-end attacks.
The victim was walking home from a bus stop in the 1700 block of South Angeline Street at about 5:50 pm on Tuesday, when an unknown adult man attacked her from behind, covered her mouth and repeatedly punched her in the face. He then threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect finally fled with her purse after the woman fought back.
An extensive area search was unsuccessful, and the suspect remains at large.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30′s to 40′s, 5’10” to 6’, brown complexion, medium build, clean shaven, wearing a beige or light colored jacket and a beige-colored hat (above).
Seattle Police are investigating four other random attacks on women in the last three months, including one in Seward Park and three in Mt. Baker, but still haven’t said if the attacks are related.
Anyone with information about these incidents or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect(s), is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police Sexual Assault Unit at 206-684-5575.

SMF, This guy is done when he finally gets caught.
The man appears to be a sick, twisted individual! The person needs to turn oneself in or get caught and if he is the same person in other cases…the other victims need to heal.
I hate being back on Standard Time. It was dark when that poor woman was attacked. I’ve been laughed at because I’ve stated many times that I won’t be out after the sun goes down. This just strengthens my resolve. I hope this cretin is caught soon but not before someone castrates the mofo.
