popoA Beacon Hill woman and her mother were injured Tuesday night around 9:30 pm when the woman’s ex-boyfriend cut them both with a broken bottle.

South Precinct officers responded to a 911 call in the 4500 block of 15th Avenue South near South Alaska Street to investigate a serious felony assault after the 45-year old suspect attacked his ex during an argument and then turned on her mother when the older woman intervened.

Both victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The suspect fled to Bellevue in his car, where he later surrended to Bellevue Police without incident. He was booked into the King County Jail on two counts of Investigation of Domestic Violence Assault. SPD’s Domestic Violence Unit is handling the follow up investigation.

Men who can’t handle emotionally stressful situations are weak men. They are weak because they don’t know how to turn a negative situation into a positive one — in most cultures, this is how you determine who is an adult, and who is a child. Childlike adults are the result of a society that has had its puberty rituals removed and replaced with mindless corporate consumerism, for the purpose of feeding someone else’s hunger for money and power.

If you want to change men in this society, start publicly humiliating them and announcing their emotional under-development to the planet. Shame has a way of instigating personal growth.

Todd, I agree with you.
Or at least I would have if not for seeing Rihanna take Chris Brown back after he smacked her around. Did you see the articles about teen girls thinking she must have “done something” to make him mad?

Sigh…..
